Monthly Dental Plans

Spread the cost of your dental care across the year with one of our monthly plans. Lower combined cost than paying as you go, no surprise bills, and the schemes are designed around prevention and maintenance - the cheapest dentistry you'll ever have is the dentistry you never need.

Why a Dental Plan?

We recommend that all regular patients join one of our preventive maintenance schemes once initial treatment is complete and they're in the maintenance phase of care. The plans are calculated to save money on the combined cost of what's included, based on our standard private fees. It's our way of rewarding regular patients with a discount on private treatment.
There's also a practical benefit beyond the maths: people on monthly plans tend to come in for their check-ups and hygiene visits more reliably, which is where most problems get caught early. Less repair work over time. Lower total cost of dentistry over your lifetime. Better outcomes.
Below are the plans we offer. If you're not sure which is right for you, the simplest thing is to call us - we'll talk you through the options based on your specific situation.

Plans

Denplan (Care)

Our full-coverage Denplan membership scheme. Monthly payment covers your check-ups, hygiene visits, X-rays, and most routine and restorative treatment. The most comprehensive option.

Denplan Essentials

A lower-cost monthly plan covering routine check-ups and hygiene visits. Treatment is charged separately when needed, at standard private fees. Good for patients with healthy teeth on maintenance.

Denplan for Children (Under 18)

A discounted Denplan scheme for under-18s, covering check-ups, hygiene and routine treatment. Designed to build good habits early without the cost being a barrier.

Combined Medical Plan

Combines your dental plan with private GP, physiotherapy and podiatry access. £11.99/month on top of your dental plan, in partnership with Hampshire Healthcare Partners.

Who Plans Are Suitable For

Plans are designed for patients in the maintenance phase of dental care - meaning you've had any necessary initial treatment, your teeth are healthy and stable, and your future visits are mostly about staying that way. New patients typically pay-as-you-go through the initial assessment and treatment phase, then transition onto a plan once everything is settled.
If you're brand new to the practice, the easiest path is to come in for a new patient examination first, get a clear picture of where things stand, and then decide which plan (if any) is the right fit. We'll never push you onto a plan you don't need.

Frequently Asked Questions About Plans

That depends on your dental history and current health. If you've had a lot of work in the past and are likely to need more, Denplan Care (full coverage) usually works out better. If your teeth are stable and you mainly need check-ups and hygiene, Essentials is cheaper. We can run you through both options at a check-up appointment.

Usually not. We recommend completing any initial treatment first - so we have a clear picture of your dental health and the plan calculations are based on accurate information. Once you're in the maintenance phase, joining a plan makes sense.

No, the opposite. The plans are calculated so that the monthly cost across the year is less than what the equivalent treatment would cost paid separately. They're a discount on the underlying private fees, not a premium.

Yes. Plans operate on monthly Direct Debit and can be cancelled at any time, subject to the terms in the Scheme Rules. There's no long-term commitment.

Your Denplan membership is held with Simplyhealth Professionals (Denplan) and can be transferred to another participating practice if you move. We'll help with the paperwork.

Not currently. 0% interest-free credit is temporarily unavailable while we work to reinstate it. We do still accept all major credit cards, and the dental plans help spread regular costs across the year.
