Dental and Healthcare in One Plan
The Combined Medical Plan adds private primary healthcare to your dental plan, through our partnership with Hampshire Healthcare Partners. For £11.99 per month on top of your standard dental plan payment, you get access to private GP consultations, physiotherapy, podiatry, an annual health check, and more - all bundled into one Direct Debit.
The plan is offered in partnership with Hampshire Healthcare Partners and managed by Plan4Health as an upgrade to any of our existing dental plans. It's designed for people who want straightforward access to private primary healthcare without the cost or complexity of separate medical insurance.
There are no age restrictions, no qualifying health check to join, and the plan is open to people of all health backgrounds. The same care is available to all members regardless of any pre-existing conditions.

What's Included Each Month
Unlimited Private GP Consultations
30-minute face-to-face appointments with the same private GP, whenever you have a healthcare query or concern. No usage limits.
Two Physiotherapy Appointments a Year
For musculoskeletal issues - back pain, joint problems, muscle strain, sports injuries. Each appointment includes assessment, diagnosis, a tailored treatment plan, and referral to specialists if needed.
Two Podiatry Appointments a Year
For common foot problems - corns, calluses, verrucas, damaged or ingrowing toenails. Plus advice on bio-mechanical issues like flat feet, sports injuries and orthotics.
Annual Health Check
A physical examination covering height, weight, heart rate and blood pressure, plus a lifestyle consultation on diet, exercise and any ongoing health concerns. Follow-up advice and referrals where appropriate.
Private Prescriptions and Blood Tests
Available when required. These are chargeable separately at private rates.
Secondary Care Referrals
If you need a specialist consultation, your private GP can refer you through the private healthcare system, normally with much shorter waiting times than the NHS equivalent.

A Family-Run Practice You Can Trust
Tangmere Dental Care has been caring for patients in Tangmere, near Chichester, since 1988. We're a family-run independent practice just off the A27, with easy access from Arundel, Bognor Regis, Emsworth and Portsmouth, set in a quiet rural location with a large free car park.
Because we have a low turnover of staff, you see the same clinician year after year, which means real continuity of care. Our treatment rooms are modern and fully equipped, so most advanced treatments can be completed on site in one place.
We welcome patients from Chichester, Arundel, Bognor Regis, Portsmouth, Selsey, Emsworth, Westhampnett and surrounding PO20 areas.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Combined Medical Plan
Not exactly. It's a membership scheme that gives you access to a defined package of private healthcare services. There are no claims to process - you book and attend appointments directly. For some larger interventions (specialist consultations, hospital procedures) you'd still need separate medical insurance or pay privately.
Yes. One of the design principles of the scheme is continuity - you have the same GP at every appointment, who builds up a proper picture of your health over time. This is a real difference from typical NHS GP practice where you might see a different doctor each visit.
Significantly faster than NHS waiting times in most cases. Standard appointments are typically available within days rather than weeks. We can't guarantee specific waiting times - Hampshire Healthcare Partners will give you the current position when you book.
Yes. Plan members continue to have NHS access for anything outside the plan's coverage (and for prescriptions and major hospital treatment, this is typically still done through the NHS where appropriate).
No. There are no health checks required to qualify, and pre-existing conditions don't affect your eligibility. The same services are available to all members.
No. The plan is open to people of all ages.
The plan operates on monthly Direct Debit and can be cancelled. We'd ask you to let us and Hampshire Healthcare Partners know in advance so we can stop the payments and document the end of your membership.
Yes - and you'll get a discount for multiple members in the same household or group (5% for 2, 10% for 3, 15% for 4+). The specific arrangements vary slightly so it's worth talking to us about the detail.
