Long-Serving Team, Continuity of Care

Most of the team have been at Tangmere for years. That low staff turnover is deliberate - we work hard to make this a good place to work, and the result is that patients see the same clinician year after year. Continuity matters in dentistry. The dentist who knows your history is the dentist most likely to spot a change early and least likely to repeat work that's already been done.
We have a mix of dentists, dental therapists and clinical leads. Below is a brief profile of each.

Over 300 Five-Star Reviews
“I’ve found that many people feel nervous about dental treatment. My aim is to help patients feel comfortable, informed and confident in their decisions, while delivering dentistry that is practical, natural-looking and built to last.”

Meet Paul

With many years of experience in private dental practice, our principal dentist leads a clinical team focused on natural-looking, durable restorations and prevention-led care. His work spans Cerec ceramic restorations, complex implant cases, cosmetic veneers, crowns and smile design.
The team takes the time to understand your story and pace your care around your individual goals. Every option is explained in detail before treatment begins, so you can make informed, confident decisions about your health.
The whole clinical team at Tangmere is committed to ongoing professional development and to delivering dentistry that feels human, considered and consistent across every visit.

Our Dental Therapists

Dental Therapists are now routinely part of UK general dental practice. They're trained to do all the work usually done by a hygienist, as well as most routine work done by a dentist, and have more than twice a hygienist's training. They handle routine fillings, preventive care, complex gum treatment, treatment of children, and nervous patient care. Because therapists are dental professionals in their own right (not just assistants), having two of them on the team alongside the dentists means we cross-check work and keep standards high.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Practice

Most of the time, yes. Continuity is something we work hard to maintain - low staff turnover, registered patients booked with their usual clinician where possible. Occasionally a treatment is better suited to a different clinician on the team (e.g. routine work referred to a dental therapist, or specialist work referred to whoever has the right expertise). Where we do refer internally, we explain why first.

Cosmetic work is typically led by Paul, who is a member of the British Society of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been doing this work for decades. Some of the supporting work - whitening, facial aesthetics, simpler veneers - is delivered by our Dental Therapists who have specific training in these areas. We plan complex cases as a team.

Implants are placed by Paul, who's a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and has been placing implants since 2002. We use 3D CT scanning for planning and follow established surgical protocols.

Several of our team are particularly experienced with nervous patients - Dr Liu is known for her gentle approach, Dr Chaplin-Rogers has a special interest in sedation dentistry, and Dr Braziunaite is specifically valued by anxious patients. We'll match you with the right clinician at booking.

Yes - GDC numbers are listed in each profile above. The GDC (General Dental Council) is the UK regulator for dentists and dental care professionals. You can verify any of our team on the GDC register at gdc-uk.org.
